SOCIAL MEDIA guidelines and disclosures

Approved Social Media Usage:

Lyon Capital Management has approved the use of LinkedIn and X for business purposes. Supervised persons and investment advisor representatives may not utilize social media for the business purposes of the Firm without the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)’s prior approval. Employees who wish to use social media may request permission to use the firm’s authorized social media platform(s). If an employee wants to use a social media platform that the Firm has not authorized, he or she must request approval. The CCO will review requests and approve or deny those requests based on their compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures. 

Social Media Content Standards:

Any social media site used for business purposes is the responsibility of the Firm. Supervised persons are expected to communicate professionally and appropriately and refrain from using language that could be construed as profane, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, malicious, violent, threatening, or that violates copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, legal rights, and any other third‐party rights. 

 An employee may list Lyon Capital Management, LLC as their place of employment on a personal social media site after receiving approval from the Chief Compliance Officer.

Supervised persons and investment advisor representatives should also exercise judgment when deciding to “share,” “like,” or “retweet” content or when making comments or posts to other sites or platforms.
